A) I went the Gay pride parade. As far as I'm concern, the festival was really awesome. It made Brighton to be such a vibrant town that day as people dressed up in colourful, people was dancing, spent their life extremely and so on. Besides, the festival encouraged us to respect the other people even though they are different from us and everyone is equal.

B) The Songkran festival is celebrated in Thailand as the traditional New Year's Day from 13 to 15 April. It coincides with the New Year of many calendars of South and Southeast Asia.


The most obvious celebration of Songkran is the throwing of water. Thais roam the streets with containers of water or water guns (sometimes mixed with mentholated talc), or post themselves at the side of roads with a garden hose and drench each other and passersby. This, however, was not always the main activity of this festival. Songkran was traditionally a time to visit and pay respects to elders, including family members, friends and neighbors.

MESIR PASTE FEST IN TURKEY

Mesir paste tradition (Mesir Macunu in Turkish) is a very old tradition in the history of Manisa, an Anatolian city in the Aegean region, dating back to almost 500 years. Mesir paste was started as a medicine invention during the Ottoman period but later on it became an important part of local festivity in this city. Mesir paste includes 41 different types of plants and spices together to form a medicinal paste and sent it to the palace. Pusan firework Festival



This festival has been held in Haewoondae which is very famous for the beatiful beach and bridge since the APEC summit meeting in 2004. Every year the firework which worth around 2,720,000 pouds are taken place.
It's absolutely fantastic !! The 30 minutes is like dream~
I really recommend visiting Hawoondae in the end of October to see this firework!

Jihyun

Yes, I went down to Preston Park to wander around as it is one of the most popular festivals in Brighton. I got there with my friends and took photos of them. It was absolutely unique cause in Korea we aren't that much open-minded to those people, which seems kind of clash of culture. At first I felt a bit scared looking at what they wear or look like as they didn't seem normal people. Anyway it's one of their cultures and I don't want to judge anything about it. I just enjoyed it and it was a good experience to see that.

Here this is one of Korean festivals called Haeundae Sand Festival.
Begun in 2005 as part of an APEC summit activity, this sand festival in Busan is a collection of exhibits and activities featuring the beach’s powdery white wonder. Every June, Replicas of famous monuments throughout the world are formed with astounding detail by international teams for a chance to win prizes, while people are buried in hot sand as part of a health regimen. Afterwards, you can wait for the nighttime fireworks display and performances, or just enjoy the rest of the 1.55-kilometer beach, regarded as one of Korea’s eight scenic wonders.

a. I went to Pride last Saturday. The prade was wonderful and I had a good time with it, but in the Preston Park, it was jam-packed. So i couldn't enjoy enough. But! I took pictures of many people who wore brilliant outfit.

b. there is a famous international festival in Korea, called "Boryung Mud Festival". It started 13years ago in Boryung where is located in westhern Korea, also it's famous for clean sea and mud. It's been held every July for 4days. You can enjoy sooth mud which is good for skin, and a lot of events such as mud fight, mud sliding and so on... Also you can take a rest with beautiful scenery.

A. Yes, I went to the Gay Pride Parade. It was extraordinary. It was over the top when I saw a lot of people who were kissing each other even thoungh they were same gender. In addition, when I met people who were not gays but enjoyed that festival, I was shocked. However, I was really impressed about people who admited abnormal people who loves the same gender.





B. In Korea, there is famous dance called Ganggangsullae. It was first used to bring about a fruitful harvest and has developed into a cultural symbol for Korea. It is often associated with the Chuseok holiday. This dance is performed only with women at night.

I went to Gay Pride Parade on last Saturday. It was quite nice because this was my first time to see the parade which is for homosexual. I saw a lot of gay wear special uniform and disguise himself as girl, but there were also many heterosexual join the pride. In my opinion, the festival was really impressive and unforgettable.

In my country, Taiwan, our biggest festival is Chinese New Year. We always get together with our family and it is not socially acceptable to work in Chinese New Year. We have a dinner together and stey up all the night before the day of Chinese New year. In addition, the elder should give some pocket money to children in a red envelop. So all the children are always look forward Chinese New Year in the every end of year.

Last Saturday I went to see the gay pride parade. I just watched the people marching past me in the West Street but didn't follow them to the party in the park.
Brought up in a conservative Asian country, I felt kind of culture shock when I saw some men dressing up as women and wearing explosive clothes. However, when I saw a sign on a bus which says: "What I am needs no excuses", I was really touched. At that time I felt something called freedom. Even though I don't understand why those people choose the same gender to be mates, I am not against them cos in this world only people themselves could decide who they are.

Chinese Mid-autumn festival
It's the festival that every family member get together to see the beautiful round moon at its fullest time of a year. And they share delicious moon cakes together to celebrate the harvest of the year and ask the moon for next year's harvest. This festival is a very important featival in China.

I went to the gay pride parade on last Saturday which day was clear and fine.
At first when I saw it I was so astonished for roads were jammed with long lines of cars and pepole who disguissed.I suppose that this festival is the biggist and one of the most fever filled in Brighton.
b.
In our country, Japan, has an unique culuture named hanami which means a picnic under the cherry blossoms which is Japanese national flower in April.In this season it's holded evreryday to see cherry blossoms with drinking and eating. We grow up with this flower and cherish this culuture so it's makes us really comforttoble.

This is just short a teaser of how are Axe music festivals in Brazil

This festival happens in the midlle of november and it is quite famous, there were 12 bands in 4 days of festival, this video was shooted 9 o clock am, and the shows started 10 pm from the day before, so as you can see in Brazil when people are partying they dont get tired.

Observations:
1. Everybody wears the same kind of shirt( The shirt its the entrance ticket)
2. There is a lot of people sitting ( Maybe they were a bit tired)
3. The Band is playing in the middle of the audience( this was an excpetion,normally they play on a big truck and everybody follows the truck while dancing)
4. If you want to go and feel that maybe you cant keep up with the truck, dont worry the trucks goes really slowly
